The Scrumptious vanilla ice cream tasted very generic and had nothing that made it stand out. After a few bites the base was nothing out of the ordinary. After seeing that trend on the PB Cup and Ultimate Oreo I had in the past, I figured it was a matter of a few bites before I would strike gold with mix-ins. When I lifted the lid it looked very basic with the dominant vanilla base and small little ripples of fudge present. Mackinac Island Fudge Ice Cream is labeled as "Scrumptious vanilla ice cream with a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate fudge ripple and chunks of real chocolate fudge." While on paper that sounds simple, lets see if Chocolate Shoppe can live up to its quality as a great ice cream company and make this pint stand out.Ī little history about Mackinac Island Fudge that may be noteworthy to this review.
